Na’munu Skincare Clinic, one of Plateau State’s leading beauty and skincare brands, is set to expand its operations with the opening of a new branch in Mangu Local Government Area alongside a youth empowerment programme.

The Chief Executive Officer of the clinic, Ms. Rintong Pius John, said the initiative will provide free skincare training for young people interested in building careers in the beauty industry.

According to her, the project is designed to equip aspiring entrepreneurs with practical skills needed to succeed in skincare formulation and beauty business.

“The project will involve an exciting empowerment workshop designed to inspire, educate and empower aspiring skincare entrepreneurs,” she said.

Rintong, a native of Mangu-Halle Ward in Mangu Local Government Area, is a certified medical aesthetician and skincare formulation expert. She obtained her diploma from the Canadian Beauty College, Aberdeen, Scotland, United Kingdom.

She founded Na’munu Skincare Clinic while living in the United Kingdom before relocating the business to Nigeria, with its headquarters in Jos, Plateau State.

The clinic first operated from the Hill Station area for two years before moving to its current location at Plaza 1080, Dadin Kowa, Yakubu Gowon Way, Jos.

Over the years, the brand has built a reputation for producing organic skincare products and providing professional beauty services, attracting customers from within and outside Plateau State.

The company now boasts over a decade of experience in the beauty industry, with products that compete favourably with international brands.

Beyond business, Rintong has continued to promote entrepreneurship among young women, encouraging them to embrace innovation, hard work and self-reliance.

Her planned expansion to Mangu is expected to create more opportunities for youths, particularly women, through skills acquisition and business development in the fast-growing beauty industry.

Industry observers say her success story reflects the growing contribution of women entrepreneurs to Plateau State’s economy and serves as inspiration for young people seeking opportunities in the beauty and wellness sector.
