Following a lively civil wedding on Wednesday, February 28th, 2024, renowned Nigerian gospel performer Moses Bliss and his UK-based Ghanaian sweetheart, Marie Wiseborn, celebrated their traditional Ghanaian wedding.
The celebratory ceremony, which blended Nigerian and Ghanaian traditions, reportedly took place on February 29th, 2024, at the picturesque Underbridge in East Legon, Accra.
The pair, who had been dating for more than a year, exchanged vows in a lively celebration of love and cultural diversity. Bliss, dressed in his native Akwa Ibom costume, and Marie, dressed in a magnificent blue kente gown with peach embroidery, represented their various roots while upholding their Christian religion.
The couple continued to wear similar Akwaibom and Ghanaian clothes throughout the occasion. During the reception dance, they were dressed in Akwa Ibom clothing, then for the cake cutting, they changed into Ghanaian garb.
