Bevuk Dokgak Ishaya, the tricycle (Keke) rider who went viral for his heartfelt celebration of Governor Caleb Mutfwang on his birthday, has finally received his promised gift—a brand-new Keke. In addition, the Plateau State Government also presented his wife with the sum of ₦500,000 to support her business.

The presentation took place today at the Government House in Jos, where the Commissioner for Youths and Sports, Musa Ashoms who made the presentation on behalf of the Governor commended Bevuk’s enthusiasm and loyalty. His public display of support for the governor especially on his birthday by giving free rides to commuters had drawn widespread attention, leading to the state government’s promise to reward him.

Expressing gratitude, Bevuk thanked Governor Mutfwang and his team for the generous gesture, stating that the new Keke would greatly improve his livelihood. His wife also appreciated the financial support, noting that it would help grow her business and provide for their family.

This act of goodwill has been widely applauded, further highlighting the governor’s commitment to recognizing and uplifting hardworking citizens in Plateau State.
