In a recent move to strengthen governance and ensure effective service delivery, the Executive Chairman of Jos North Local Government Council, Barr. J.K Chris, has approved several key appointments within the council.
The announcement came through an official press release issued from the Office of the Executive Chairman on a new lineup of officials who will serve in various capacities for the benefit of the people of Jos North Local Government Area.
Kachollom Mercy Chuwang has been named as the Chief Press Secretary, a pivotal role that will involve overseeing communications and public relations for the council.
The newly appointed Supervisory Councillors include; Azumi Igyem Azi, Martha Luka Agura, Yvonne Jack Pam, Asabe Gabau Yohanna, Zal Mupan James, Augusta Dupe Udoh, Oluwaseyi A. Samson, Sani Abdulmalik Damboyi.
In addition to these appointments, twenty Special Advisers have also been selected to provide expert guidance in various aspects of governance. They are; Maureen Ifeoma Odilimuo, Kachollom Moses, Sunday Dagari, Achen Aaron Moses, Julius Egwarube, Linda Ayele, Rossi Paul, Samson Maikano Manu, Kadija Abdullahi, Nene Kida, Amos Tongwe, Tmawa Hassan Makama, David Arin Ajang, Danjuma Selkong Bali, Samuel Vou Endurance, Dang Choji, Bala Malele, Cosmos Jang, Amos Alkali and Haruna Friday Jeremiah.
Among other appointments included forty-five Senior Special Assistants and Twenty Special Assistants on Media. See full list below;
