The Transition Implementation Committee Chairman Riyom LGA Hon Sati Bature Shuwa has congratulated Nigerians as Democracy day is been observed today.
Hon Shuwa said, “Nigeria is incredibly blessed by all metrics, yet the country keeps failing because overtime, the right things are not been done.” He added that, “for Nigeria to return to its glory days, there must be patriotism and greater commitment on the side of leaders and the led alike to built a country of our dreams.
He extols the contributions of all those who laboured to keep the country together while struggling to return the country to democracy, stating that “some of them even paid the supreme price and we must not allow their labours to be in vain.” Hon Shuwa describes them as “the heroes of our modern democracy.”
The TIC Chairman said, he is optimistic that, Nigeria is on its way to greatness despite the numerous challenges facing the nation, calling on all to continue to support the administration of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu and the captain of “The Time is Now” Administration, His Excellency, Governor Caleb Manasseh Mutfwang as they have shown the commitment to built a prosperous and a united Nigeria. He therefore wishes all citizens a happy democracy day celebration.
