Hon. Chief Nandir Lar, APC Flag Bearer for Langtang North Central State Constituency, has expressed deep sorrow over the death of elder statesman and retired Comptroller, Danjuma Siman, who reportedly died in a fatal motor accident along the Akwanga–Nasarawa Road on Wednesday, June 10, 2026.
In a condolence message, Nandir described the late Siman as a respected leader, father figure, and mentor whose life was dedicated to service, justice, and the advancement of his people.
She said the news of the retired comptroller’s passing came as a shock and left many across Tarokland and Plateau State in mourning.
“I received with profound shock and deep sadness the news of the tragic passing of Elder Statesman and Retired Comptroller, Uncle Danjuma Siman, who lost his life in a ghastly motor accident along the Akwanga–Nasarawa Road on Wednesday, 10th June, 2026,” she stated.
According to Nandir, the deceased was widely admired for his wisdom, generosity, and commitment to helping others, particularly young people seeking opportunities and guidance.
“The late Pa Danjuma Siman was more than a respected leader; he was a father figure whose influence, wisdom, and generosity touched countless lives across Tarokland and beyond,” she said.
The APC chieftain noted that Siman believed strongly in justice, fairness, and equality, adding that he devoted much of his life to uplifting people regardless of family background or personal interests.
Nandir also praised the late elder statesman’s role in strengthening the All Progressives Congress and mentoring emerging leaders within the political space.
“His immense contributions to the growth and strengthening of the APC and the broader political family in Plateau State and beyond will remain indelible. Through his guidance, encouragement, and selfless service, he inspired many and helped shape a generation of emerging leaders,” she said.
Reflecting on their personal relationship, Nandir described the deceased as a father figure whose advice and support had a lasting impact on his life and political journey.
“To me personally, Uncle Danjuma Siman was like a father. His counsel, support, and contribution to the progress of our people will be greatly missed,” she added.
He extended condolences on behalf of his family, the Jagoran Talakawa Movement, and the APC family of Langtang North Central State Constituency to the bereaved family, friends, and associates of the late statesman.
Nandir urged those mourning the loss to take solace in the enduring legacy of service, leadership, and compassion left behind by Danjuma Siman.
“While his departure leaves a void that will be difficult to fill, I pray that we all find comfort in the noble legacy he leaves behind, the lives he touched, and the enduring impact of his good works,” she said.
She prayed for God to grant the deceased eternal rest and give his family the strength to bear the loss.
The death of Danjuma Siman has continued to attract tributes from political leaders, associates, and community members who remember him for his dedication to public service and the development of society.
