In a bid to enhance quality education for students, The former member representing Jos South – Jos East Federal Constituency at the Federal House of Representatives, Honorable Dachung Musa Bagos marked his 47th birthday with a generous contribution to the educational development through the Dachung Musa Bagos Foundation by donating science equipment, textbooks, and exercise books to BECO Comprehensive High School in Kwi, Barkin Ladi Local Government Area of Plateau State.
This act of humanity demonstrates his commitment to promoting quality education and supporting schools in the community, ensuring that children have the resources they need to succeed in their academic endeavors.
Mr. Dafwam Danja Yakubu, Special Adviser on Media and Publicity to Hon. Dachung Bagos, issued a statement stating that Mr. Lang Pwajok, on behalf of Hon. Dachung Musa Bagos, reaffirmed Hon. Bagos’ commitment to improving educational development for future generations by providing science equipment and books.
According to him, the goal is to make a difference in the lives of Plateau communities and beyond. As a result, he charged the students to perceive the grant as a gift and to return by being community changers.
Also speaking, the programme manager of the Dachung Musa Bagos Foundation, Mr. Alpha Dali, who spoke on behalf of the Executive Director of the foundation, Mrs. Lydia Dachung Bagos stated that this project was done based on the desire of the foundation to support schools and students to achieve their peak of greatness. Hence, the foundation is celebrating the birthday of its President and founder by donating teaching aids, books, and science equipment.
In appreciation, the BECO President Worldwide Da. Gyang Dudu, through the Vice President, Da. Chung Dusu, appreciated Hon. Bagos and the foundation for coming through for the school with these great birthday gifts. He said Bagos has further proven his position as an illustrious son of the land.
Also responding, the principal of the school, Mr. Gyang J. Dandoro, thanked the foundation for responding to the needs of the school. The vice principal of administration, Mr. Dalyop Emmanuel Ibrahim, commended Hon. Bagos for his commitment to touching the lives of his people, which has a global impact. And has also aligned with the objective of the Berom Legacy Project and the vision of His Excellency Barrister Caleb Manasseh Mutfwang’s future education and education of the future in Plateau State.
The highlight of the event was a birthday song by the students of the school and prayers of blessings and best wishes to Hon. Bagos led by the BECO Secretary General, Da Chollom Gyang.
