Hon. Hitler Joshua Pwajok, Special Adviser to Governor Caleb Mutfwang on Youth Mobilization and Engagement, has urged the newly absorbed ad hoc staff of the College of Education Gindiri and Plateau State Polytechnic to commit themselves fully to their duties.
He spoke at Government House, Little Rayfield, Jos, where the Governor received the staff and commended them for their patience and long years of service.
Hon. Pwajok described Governor Mutfwang as a compassionate leader who has opened new opportunities for the youth and ensured justice for long-serving workers.
He prayed for God’s blessings on the Governor and encouraged the staff to uphold efficiency and productivity in their new positions.
The Special Adviser stressed that their absorption is both a reward and a responsibility, urging them to set a strong example in their institutions.
He assured them of continued government support, noting that their success would strengthen Plateau State’s educational system.

Earlier, Governor Caleb Manasseh Mutfwang explained that last-minute recruitments had excluded long-serving ad hoc staff, prompting the government to suspend the exercise for proper review.
He thanked the staff for their endurance and announced that their contributions would be recognized and compensated, with details to be communicated through the schools.
The Governor encouraged them to work hard, improve themselves, and uphold the values expected of all qualified Plateau citizens.

Also speaking, Commissioner for Higher Education, Dr. Kachollom Pyam Gang, said the event marked an important moment for the sector and had boosted the morale of workers from both institutions.

Speaking on behalf of the absorbed staff, Mr. Josiah Sati praised the Governor for addressing their 22-year grievance and described the day as the happiest moment of their lives.
He expressed gratitude and urged his colleagues to remain motivated and committed to honoring the Governor’s legacy through their performance.
