Residents of Jos are set to experience an evening of intellectual discussion, entertainment and social interaction as GIST+ (Gist through Insightful and Social Triumph) hosts a special event exploring the relationship between science, religion and the concept of life.
The event, scheduled for Sunday, August 23, 2026, at Elim Bubbles Lounge, No. 1 Golf Course Road, Mai Adiko, Rayfield, Jos, is expected to bring together young people and other members of the public for thought-provoking conversations in a relaxed and entertaining atmosphere.
Themed “The Science and Religion of the Concept of Life,” the programme is designed to encourage participants to examine different perspectives on life, drawing from both scientific and religious viewpoints.
One of the major attractions will be the “Red Pill or Blue Pill” discussion, which will challenge participants with two contrasting choices.
According to the event concept, the red pill represents starting all over again with everything life has taught an individual, while the blue pill represents having zero experience but receiving $100,000.
Beyond the intellectual conversations, participants should also expect a mix of games, music and laughter, creating an atmosphere that combines serious discussions with social entertainment.
The event will be hosted by The Storyteller, with organisers inviting members of the public to come prepared to share opinions, engage in conversations and enjoy an evening of entertainment.
