Rt. Hon. Yusuf Adamu Gagdi, the Member representing Pankshin, Kanke, and Kanam (PKK) Federal Constituency and Chairman House Committee on Navy, has announced key appointments aimed at improving political coordination and governance at the grassroots level.
In a statement released on Friday, Gagdi introduced the appointment of Special Advisers on Political Affairs for the three local government areas in PKK. The appointed Special Advisers are Hon. Rotshak Gideon Yokden for Pankshin, Hon. James Golen for Kanke, and Hon. Mohammed Abdullahi Barau for Kanam. These advisers will play a vital role in advising Gagdi’s office on political developments, organizing mobilization strategies, and overseeing constituency projects.
Gagdi expressed his appreciation for their leadership and dedication to the All Progressives Congress (APC) and the people of PKK, emphasizing that their appointments are aimed at strengthening the political structures within their localities.
Additionally, Gagdi appointed 58 Ward Liaison Officers across PKK. These officers, who were councilorship candidates in the last local government election, will act as a crucial link between the constituents and Gagdi’s office, ensuring political activities are well-coordinated at the ward level.
Among the appointed Ward Liaison Officers for Pankshin LGA are Gabaru Sikyang Gbalong for Dokpai, Gomwen Emmanuel Yittawe for M. Nyellang, Nengak Ibrahi Sukkuk for Kasgong, Manga Samson Namkung for Tal B, Vincent Tatkom Tungtong for Tal B, David G. Gerlong for Wusali, Emmanuel Lohotret Anthony for Chip, and Kebang Sunday for Wokkos. Other appointees include Naanyasar D. Langshi for Longbam, Lokoja Bamindi for Kangshu, Nenritmwa Ishaku Goyol for Wuchembe, and Mathias Menshak Dawam for Jiblik, among others.
In Kanke LGA, the appointed Liaison Officers include Johnson Gowong for Gyangyang, Philip Paul for Gwarip, Esther Nasara Jan for Gunji/K/B, and Manji Rabo for Dawaki. Gideon Anthony for Garram, Tongzum Jonathan for Gugur, and Dapwatda Gongi for Nemel are also part of the team, along with other officers such as Kichime Bitrus for Ampang and Nenchin Nehimiah for Tabulung.
For Kanam LGA, the appointed officers include Mudansir Ibrahim for Jarmai, Mawo Abdulrashid for Gumshar, Umar Shehu Miri for Gyambar, Mohammed Ya’u Musa for Kunkyam N, and Rabi’u Yahaya Numakya for Gidgid. Other appointees include Sale Danasabe Gambo for Dengi, Adamuhamisu for Gar/Bagyar, and Sani Abdulahi for Namaran, along with many others in different wards.
The appointees are expected to report to the Constituency Headquarters on Saturday, April 12, 2025, for documentation and collection of their appointment letters. They will also receive two months’ salary in advance, covering April and May.
Gagdi congratulated all the appointees, expressing full confidence in their abilities to serve the people with dignity and political excellence. He emphasized that their collective efforts will contribute to building a united and prosperous Pankshin, Kanke, and Kanam Federal Constituency.
