The management of the College of Education, Gindiri, has announced the immediate reinstatement of staff who were previously relieved of their duties. This follows a directive from the National Industrial Court, Jos division.
The announcement, dated May 27, 2025, was made by the Acting Provost, Professor Lazarus L. Maigoro, on behalf of the college management. It marks a significant turn in a matter that had generated concern among the affected staff and education stakeholders.
“Following the directive by the National Industrial Court Jos division, on the reinstatement of relieved staff of the College of Education, Gindiri, the Acting Provost, Professor Lazarus L. Maigoro on behalf of the Management of the College is informing all claimants employed by the College to by this announcement, report to their duty post immediately.”
With this directive, all affected staff are expected to resume their duties without delay, as their disengagement has been overturned by the court’s decision.
“They are also to attend a meeting at the Academic Board Room on Wednesday 28th May, 2025 by 10:00am prompt.”
The management has organized a meeting for the reinstated staff to address any pending administrative matters and ensure a smooth return to work.
The meeting is scheduled to hold at the Academic Board Room of the college on Wednesday, May 28, 2025, at 10:00 am.
