Pharmacist Kim Bot, the secretary of the Pharmaceutical Society of Nigeria’s Plateau state chapter, was freed from captivity on Wednesday.

He was released on Thursday night, it was discovered.

Pharmacist Bot was kidnapped on Wednesday evening around Lamingo Road Junction in the Plateau state region of Jos North, as reported earlier.

When the incident occurred, he was driving his Honda Hennessy gold-colored car just after work had ended.

The pharmacist release was confirmed by family members, according to newsmen in Jos on Friday.

The pharmacist, according to one of them, was released without any conditions, despite the criminals’ initial demand for an undisclosed sum of money as ransom.

He was rushed to the hospital, where he is currently being treated, the source added.

He thanked God for preserving Bot’s life, whom he praised as a decent man.

Pharmacist Kim Bot has been released to the glory of God, the family member stated. He is currently receiving medical care in a Jos hospital. We are really grateful to God for saving his life and to the security personnel for working to get him out.
