Pharmacist Kim Bot, a representative of the Pharmaceutical Society of Nigeria in Plateau State, has been kidnapped by bandits.
According to information obtained by newsmen, the union head was being chased away by bandits on Wednesday night as he was making his way home from his office.
When approached about the incident, Kaneng Pam, the Plateau State Chairman of the Pharmaceutical Society of Nigeria, could not be reached; however, a member of the association in the state verified the kidnapping of the union officer to The newsmen in Jos on Thursday.
The kidnapping victim was described as the state’s PSN secretary by the pharmacist who would not provide his name.
He said that Mr. Kim Bot was abducted along the Lamingo Road Junction in the state’s Jos North Local Government Area.
He added by saying that given the recent spate of kidnappings on the Lamingo Road leading to Jos University Teaching Hospital, it was becoming known for its abduction activity.
