The Selfless Service Campaign Organisation 2027 has called on the All Progressives Congress (APC) electoral committee to declare Comrade Ayuba Dalyop Mandung, popularly known as AYUDEH, as the authentic winner of the Jos South State House of Assembly primary election conducted on May 20, 2026.

In a press statement signed by the Secretary of the organisation, Mr. Gyang Samuel Thomas, the group alleged that the outcome of the primary election was manipulated during the collation process.

According to the organisation, results gathered from polling units and Federal Wards across Jos South Constituency showed that AYUDEH scored 3,489 votes to emerge ahead of other aspirants.

The statement listed Mancha John Vincent with 3,446 votes, while Dalyop Isaac Gyang polled 3,349 votes.

Other aspirants mentioned in the release included Gwomson Giwa with 1,321 votes and Dalyop Gyang Pam who scored 389 votes.

The organisation maintained that, based on the authentic figures obtained from the field, AYUDEH clearly won the primary election conducted by the party.

It further alleged that the result from Giring Federal Ward was tampered with during collation to favour another aspirant.

“The facts and evidence available before us clearly show that Mancha John Vincent originally scored 325 votes in Giring Federal Ward, but the result was unlawfully amended and increased to 1,205 votes,” the statement said.

The group added that the alleged alteration created an artificial difference of 880 votes during the collation process.

It also claimed that Dalyop Isaac Gyang’s votes in the same ward were increased from 97 to 197 votes during the exercise.

“These manipulations directly affected the integrity and credibility of the final outcome announced from the ward and undermined the genuine decision of the Congress members who participated in the exercise,” the statement added.

The campaign organisation also addressed the cancellation of results from Turu Federal Ward following disruptions during collation.

According to the release, before the crisis and tearing of result sheets occurred, AYUDEH had recorded 686 votes in the ward, while Mancha John Vincent scored 60 votes.

The statement further indicated that Dalyop Isaac Gyang polled 65 votes, Dalyop Gyang Pam secured 96 votes, while Gwomson Giwa recorded 371 votes in the ward.

“With the above authentic figures and available records, it is evidently clear that Comrade Ayuba Dalyop Mandung remains the rightful and undisputed winner of the APC Jos South State House of Assembly Primary Election,” the organisation stated.

The group argued that even if the disputed Giring Federal Ward figures were corrected to reflect the original polling unit results, AYUDEH would still maintain victory with a margin of 43 votes.

The organisation therefore called on the APC leadership, the electoral committee, and relevant stakeholders to ensure justice and fairness by declaring what it described as the true outcome of the election.

“Democracy can only thrive where transparency, fairness, and respect for the people’s mandate are protected,” the statement noted.

The group further praised AYUDEH for remaining peaceful and committed to the democratic process despite the controversy surrounding the primary election.

“Peace and patience should never be mistaken for weakness in the face of clear injustice and manipulation,” the organisation declared.

It concluded by urging party leaders and authorities concerned to protect the mandate given by Congress members in Jos South Constituency and act in the interest of party unity and democracy.
