The Prince Ponfa Miri Foundation has formed a partnership with Bluehouse Technologies, utilising its online platform, Infinity Gem.

The youth-led non-profit, which previously served as Code Plateau’s management partner for two years, announced its new relationship with Bluehouse Technologies yesterday.

Bluehouse Technologies introduced Infinity Gem in September 2023, revealing that the programme provides a breakthrough edtech solution that includes expert mentorship, a vibrant tech community, flexible payment options, professional experience, and more.

Prince Ponfa Miri, the PPMF’s founder and president, said at Code Plateau that this relationship will help him realise his goal of empowering 20,000 young people.

He stated that the foundation will provide young people with free digital skills to help them become change makers through the use of the internet and digital technology.

“I feel so excited we’re using technology to break barriers and empower young people through digital skills as it is the most fundamental area whereby digital skills are key in the revolution of the tech ecosystem” he said.

He also stated that he intends to make Plateau State and the North a hub for mining technology talent.

“We are looking at 15000 to 17000 young people to help empower and build themselves up for the industrial revolution. And to curb unemployment and insecurity through digital skills, and technology has paved the way for us to empower communities and individuals”.

“The aim is to build as many young people in the tech ecosystem to revolutionize and make Plateau state a go to place for tech talents” he added.
