A clinic was commissioned by Plateau State Governor Barr. Caleb Manasseh Mutfwang in the Vwei community of Mararaban Jama’a in the State’s Jos South Local Government Area.
The Governor stated that the Clinic, which is conveniently located at the entrance to Jos, the state capital, will serve both the local population and onlookers’ healthcare requirements.
The Transition Committee Chairman of Jos South Local Government Area, Hon. Peter Vwang Dung, who oversaw the building, received accolades from Governor Mutfwang for his work.
The Governor emphasised fiscal management and the completion of beneficial projects while expressing his administration’s strong commitment to large expenditures in the healthcare sector.
“I assure the people of Plateau state that this administration will prioritize prudence and ensure that every penny spent benefits the citizens. We have directed all local government chairmen to assess and complete abandoned projects that serve the community. Our focus is on projects that truly benefit our people,” Governor Mutfwang affirmed.
Governor Mutfwang urged the neighbourhood to work together to protect and make use of the facility for the benefit of all locals.
Work on the facility began in 2010 but was abandoned until Governor Mutfwang’s appointment a few months ago, according to Hon. Peter Vwang Dung, who welcomed the governor to the location. According to him, the Clinic is important because it might help the local population’s health needs.
He emphasised the citizens of Jos South’s dedication to the Time is Now administration’s objective, which is to improve people’s lives by providing high-quality healthcare services.
On his part, the Gbong Gwom Jos, Da Jacob Gyang Buba, advised the neighbourhood to make the most of the facilities and emphasised the importance of constantly preserving the community’s identity and traditions.
