The artist and CEO of Marlian Records said on his social media channel X that he has returned to Lagos, Nigeria, to assist with the inquiry. I’d like to announce that I’ve just returned to Lagos, Nigeria, to help the authorities with the ongoing investigation, according to the post, which was made today, Tuesday, October 3, 2023, on X. I must contribute in some way to help Imole. In the hopes that the truth will be revealed and justice will be done, I will be meeting with the police.
The singer first issued a statement in which he categorically refuted all charges and stated his intention to cooperate with law enforcement in determining what exactly led to the late rapper’s death. On Tuesday, September 26, 2023, he posted a statement on his Instagram account expressing his willingness to help the authorities investigate the circumstances leading up to Mohbad’s tragic death.
Naira Marley angrily refuted in the post that she was either directly or indirectly to blame for Mohbad’s demise. He recognized that, like many other industries, the music business occasionally saw disputes amongst close friends, but he said he was innocent. He conveyed his sorrow for the deceased’s passing and the emotional toll that the circumstances had taken on him.
