The reconstruction and dualisation of the Koton Karfe–Abaji Federal Highway in Kogi State is nearing completion, with the Federal Government intensifying efforts to ensure timely delivery of the project.
Dr Abiodun Essiet, Senior Special Assistant to the President on Community Engagement (North Central), disclosed this in a statement, noting that work was progressing towards completion in line with required quality standards.
The highway serves as a strategic corridor linking Abuja to Lokoja and other parts of the North-Central region.
Essiet said the administration remained committed to delivering critical infrastructure, while encouraging community participation and support for the project.
She reaffirmed her office’s commitment to promoting community inclusion as the project advances towards completion.
The Minister of Works, Senator David Umahi, commended the contractor for professionalism and commitment to quality delivery.
