Jos Food Festival has officially announced Grand Pure Soya Oil (GPSO) as a Headline Sponsor and Official Cooking Oil Partner for the 2026 edition of the festival, themed “This Is Plateau.”

Scheduled to hold from 18th to 20th December 2026 at Nirvana Park & Gardens, Jos, this year’s festival is set to deliver an expanded three-day experience celebrating food, culture, creativity, tourism, enterprise and the unique hospitality of Plateau State.

The partnership with Grand Pure Soya Oil marks a major milestone for the festival as it continues to grow into one of Nigeria’s most anticipated culinary and cultural experiences.

Speaking on the partnership, the Director, Guest Experience & Commercial Operations, Nanret Henry described Grand Pure Soya Oil as a brand that aligns strongly with the festival’s vision of celebrating food beyond consumption, but as a powerful tool for community, storytelling, enterprise and cultural pride.

“Jos Food Festival has always been about more than food. Our people, culture, creativity and the stories we tell through what we serve. Having Grand Pure Soya Oil come on board as a Headline Sponsor is a strong statement of support for Plateau’s food culture and the growing hospitality ecosystem we are building,” the organizers stated.

The 2026 edition, “This Is Plateau,” will spotlight Plateau’s culinary identity while creating opportunities for vendors, chefs, creatives, small businesses and tourism stakeholders. The festival will also feature The Season, an ambitious 72-hour culinary project led by Chef Elvis Katlong, featuring a proposed record attempt to prepare and serve 3,000 Nigerian-style shawarmas.

As Official Cooking Oil Partner, Grand Pure Soya Oil will play a visible role across key festival experiences, including vendor engagements, food activations and selected pre-festival moments leading up to the main event.

The partnership also extends into DRESS CODE: PLATEAU, a pre-festival fashion and culture experience scheduled for 24th October 2026, where Grand Pure Soya Oil is sponsoring the ₦500,000 Best Dressed Star Prize, further reinforcing its support for creativity, culture and community participation.

According to the festival team, the collaboration reflects a shared commitment to promoting Nigerian food culture, supporting local enterprise and positioning Jos as a destination for world-class hospitality experiences.
