The Berom Women Development Association (BEWDA) has concluded arrangements for the official swearing-in of its newly elected National Executive Officers on Sunday, July 20th, 2025. The ceremony will take place at Za’ang Youth Club by 1:30 PM.
This follows the successful conduct of the 2025 BEWDA National Elections held on July 5th, where members from across Berom districts democratically elected a new Executive to lead the association. The inauguration is expected to draw notable Berom stakeholders, government officials, traditional rulers, and well-wishers.
The newly elected President of BEWDA is Ngo Abigail S. Banga, who will lead alongside Ngo Mary Pam Bot as Vice President I, Ngo Rose S. Davou as Vice President II, and Ngo Dinatu Jakawa as Vice President III. Ngo Mary Job Pam Gwom will serve as the General Secretary.
Other members of the executives include Ngo Lami Sambo (Assistant Secretary I), Ngo Esther Pwajok Bot (Assistant Secretary II), Ngo Sarah Yakubu Bot (Financial Secretary), and Ngo Deborah Emmanuel Dung (Treasurer). The Public Relations team will be led by Ngo Hannatu Simon Choji (PRO I), Ngo Cecilia Chundung Zi (PRO II), and Ngo Ikilima Nuhu (PRO III).
In charge of Welfare is Ngo Dachomo Veronica Vou, while Ngo Damaris Dung Choji will serve as the Auditor. This new team is set to continue BEWDA’s vision of promoting peace, unity, cultural identity, and women’s empowerment across Beromland and beyond.
Speaking ahead of the ceremony, the Electoral Committee Chairman, Hon. Pastor Gabriel Pam, described the election and transition process as peaceful and commendable. “This inauguration is a symbol of our collective strength and a reflection of the values we hold dear—transparency, unity, and purposeful leadership,” he said.
“We have witnessed a peaceful and credible election, and now it is time to hand over the mantle to women chosen by the people to lead BEWDA into greater impact,” he added, inviting all members and supporters to attend.
