The people of Plateau South Senatorial District are excited about the completion of the first phase of classroom projects initiated by their Senator, Simon Bako Lalong within his first year in office.
The classroom projects are part of his education interventions which will cover all parts of the six local Governments during his tenure.
The completed classroom blocks are in Langtang North, Shendam and Wase Local Government areas.

They are located in the following areas: LEA Tabbat, Langtang North LGA, Adama Pilot Science Primay School Wase Local Government, and LEA Primary school Lu-Shinkwan Shendam Local Government.
The constituents described Senator Lalong as a visionary leader who has done so much within a short time in the Red Chambers, impacting the zone with projects in various sectors.

They praise him for giving priority to education and infrastructural development particularly through solar lighting that has helped in boosting local economies and tackling crimes.
Meanwhile, Senator Lalong has assured that more projects in education, health, roads, water, energy, sports and agriculture among others will be delivered in the coming months as the 2025 budget is being implemented.
Also in the pipeline are other empowerment projects that will enable the people of the Southern Zone particularly women and youths to engage in economic opportunities.
It would be recalled that the 2024 budget was already prepared when Senator Lalong was sworn into the Senate. This means that the 2025 budget is his first having settled in the Red Chambers to represent the people of Plateau South.
He promises to bring development to the zone as many of the challenges of the people have been factored into his intervention projects while lobbying will continue.
