Fidelity Bank has provided relief materials to the Plateau states government to assist victims of attacks in Mangu and other Local Government Areas.
The Regional Bank Head, Mr. Sadi Zawiya, presented the materials on behalf of the bank, stating that their aim is to alleviate the suffering of displaced persons.
Zawiya also expressed the bank’s commitment to supporting those in need.
The Deputy Governor, Mrs. Josephine Piyo, received the items and thanked the bank for its donation, describing them as a humanitarian bank due to their past contributions.
She assured that the materials would be distributed to the affected victims and reiterated the government’s efforts to end violence in local communities.
Items donated include 100 mattresses, 100 blankets, 100 mats
120 Buckets, 300 cups,
150 Bags 25kg rice, 155 Bags maize flour
20 CD Bags of 25kg gari
50 cartons of oil
20 cartons of powdered milk, 5 Bags of slippers
25 Bags of salt
20 cartons of Maggi
20 Bags of sugar, 5 cartons of Lipton, 60 cartons of washing soap, 40 cartons of detergent among others.
