Hon. Hitler Joshua Pwajok has officially taken a major step toward contesting the Barkin Ladi Constituency seat in the Plateau State House of Assembly after obtaining the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) Expression of Interest and Nomination forms ahead of the 2027 general elections.
Pwajok, who currently serves as the Senior Special Adviser on Youth Mobilization and Engagement to Governor Caleb Manasseh Mutfwang, described the move as part of his commitment to provide purposeful and people-oriented representation for the people of Barkin Ladi.
The aspirant said his decision to join the race was inspired by the need to address key challenges affecting the constituency, including youth unemployment, poor infrastructure, insecurity, and limited access to quality healthcare and education.
Pwajok reaffirmed his commitment to his “Redefining the Future” vision, which focuses on youth empowerment, economic opportunities, support for farmers and traders, and inclusive governance.
He stated that the people of Barkin Ladi deserve a representative who will remain connected to the grassroots and consistently speak for their interests at the Plateau State House of Assembly.
Pwajok also emphasized the importance of unity and collective participation in building a stronger constituency, noting that meaningful development can only be achieved when leaders work closely with the people.
The PDP aspirant further assured supporters that his campaign would be built on service, integrity, and accountability rather than money politics.
He appealed to party members, youths, women, and community leaders across Barkin Ladi to support his aspiration and join hands in shaping a better future for the constituency.
His declaration and acquisition of nomination forms have continued to generate reactions among supporters and political stakeholders within the constituency ahead of the 2027 elections.
