The body of the missing Fulani leader, Ardo Adamu Idris Gabdo, the Ardo of Panyam, were found and collected for burial as a result of a Special Forces Tracking Operation carried out by soldiers of Operation SAFE HAVEN based on reliable intelligence from well-meaning people.

The activities were carried out by the army this morning, October 5, 2033, and they were successful in locating and recovering the remains of the missing Ardo about Boi along the Pankshin – Bauchi Road in the Tafawa Balewa Local Government Area of Bauchi State. The family has  received the body for a befitting burial.

The steadfast cooperation between the leadership of Operation SAFE HAVEN and communities also demonstrates the commitment and determination of both parties. This breakthrough was made possible through the continued community engagements employed by OPSH.

While praising the special operation, Major General AE Abubakar, who is also the commander of Operation SAFE HAVEN, wishes to express his sincere condolences to Ardo Adamu Idris Gabdo’s family and loved ones during this trying time.

He exhorts the general population to keep their guard up, work with the security services, and submit any pertinent information that can help with the continuing inquiries. Assuring that justice will be delivered for anyone found guilty, he further urged law-abiding citizens to work together to build a safe and secure environment free of criminal elements for all residents.
