The Executive Chairman of Municipal Local Government Area of Kano State, Faizu Alfindiki, has asked the Plateau State Governor Samuel Lalong to work with the intelligence community to fish out the killers of the over 25 travellers in the state.

Faizu Alfindiki, who offered his deep condolences to the families and friends of the deceased, asked the Plateau State Governor to do more to fish out the killers of the innocent travellers.

The Chairman, Comrade Faizu Alfindiki, who condemned the ambush on a group of Muslims who travelled from Bauchi, passed through Jos, resulting in the death of at least 21 people and serious injuries, said security forces should unearth those behind the killings.

Alfindiki described the attack as an act of vandalism to bring back the long-running crisis in Plateau. “I am sure the Plateau State government and President Buhari will do their best to address this issue.”

He advised the Plateau State Government to work with the security agencies and intelligence agencies, to be strong in protecting the lives of the people.

“The federal government has stepped up its efforts to provide all necessary support to the security forces, and to take all necessary steps to protect the people and the region,” he said.

He added that “This senseless killing made the whole country sad, my thoughts are with the families of the victims at this time of deceased and God bless them”, he mourned.
