In a significant effort to improve healthcare access for vulnerable populations in Plateau State, the Plateau State Contributory Healthcare Management Agency (PLASCHEMA) has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with the Christian Blinders Mission and Plateau BASICC partners.
This initiative aims to enroll 180 vulnerable individuals, including persons with disabilities, in Jos South and Mangu Local Government Areas (LGAs).
The collaborative effort underscores a commitment to creating a more inclusive and accessible healthcare system for marginalized communities in Plateau State.
Director General of PLASCHEMA, Dr. Agabus Manasseh, expressed the agency’s readiness to collaborate with more organizations and philanthropists to increase healthcare coverage in the informal sector.
He assured that “the Agency would ensure all enrolled individuals have access to quality healthcare services.” This partnership marks a milestone in addressing the healthcare needs of vulnerable populations and ensuring they receive the necessary support and services.
