The gubernatorial candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) Barrister Caleb Mutfwang has said that his party presents a great opportunity for the recovery of Plateau State. Mutfwang flanked by his Deputy Mrs Josephine Piyo, Director General Atiku-Okowa/ Mutfwang-Piyo Campaign Council, State PDP Chairman Hon Chris Adukuchili Hassan and other members of the Campaign team made this disclosure during a town hall meeting for Jos North LGA, organized by the Atiku-Okowa/ Mutfwang-Piyo Campaign Council held at Lomonde Hotel in Jos, in order to woo Professional Associations, Trade Unions, Civil Servants, Religious Bodies and Ethnic Nationalities domiciled in Jos North.

The town hall which is a continuation of the campaign activities of the Atiku-Okowa/Mutfwang-Piyo Campaign Council is expected to hold in the Seventeen (17) LGA of Plateau State, starting from today’s episode which started from Jos North.
While welcoming attendees, the Coordinator Atiku-Okowa/Mutfwang-Piyo Campaign Council, Jos North LGA, Barrister J. K Chris thanked the trade unions and civil service unions, associations, professionals, religious organizations and ethnic nationalities for attending the town hall meeting despite the short notice. He charged them to be honest in their submissions on the issues that will arise following the presentations that will be made by the PDP and her candidates.

Also speaking at the event, the Director General Atiku-Okowa/ Mutfwang-Piyo Campaign Council Hon Letep Dabang and the State PDP Chairman, Hon Chris Adukuchili Hassan separately urged the people to support the PDP which has chosen the best candidate for the 2023 polls as a corrective measures to rescue Plateau State from the current administrative dilemma.


Mutfwang presented himself and his Deputy Ngo Josephine Piyo, Candidate of the PDP for Plateau North Senatorial Zone Hon Simon Mwadkwon, the party’s candidate for Jos North/Bassa Federal Constituency Hon Musa Agah Aviah as well as the candidates for Jos North-North and North-West State Constituencies respectively, and the biggest of them all the Presidential Candidate of the PDP Atiku Abubakar GCON as the best candidates who should be voted for by the electorates in the February 25th and March 11th 2023 General Elections. A minute silence was observed in honor of those who lose their lives during the unfortunate auto crash which claimed 14 lives who were returning from the Central Zone Campaign Rally of the PDP held in Pankshin.
