The Member representing Barkin Ladi/Riyom Federal Constituency Plateau State and a Chieftain of the Peoples’ Democratic Party (PDP), Rep. Simon Mwadkwon Ph.D has lauded the success of the PDP North Central Zonal elective Congresses which held at Makurdi, Benue State.

The Federal Lawmaker also commended the conduct of party Leaders, stakeholders and supporters from the Zone as well as their contributions to the hitch free congresses.

Rep. Mwadkwon congratulated all those who were elected from the Zone especially those from Plateau State (Hon. Engr. Theophilus Dakas Shan elected as National Vice Chairman North Central Zone, Barr. Olivia Dazyam elected National Ex-officio from the Zone and Da Hon. Joseph Gyang Danladi elected as North Central Ex-officio) with a call on them to focus on repositioning the party for resounding victory.
He lauded the understanding and maturity displayed by party elders, leaders and stakeholders who made it possible for those who contested from the State to be unopposed.

He said the party is on the right track to victory in future elections.

Dr. Mwadkwon called on all Leaders and members to unite, close ranks and work towards the success of the party at all levels.

“PDP is the party to beat and I want to call on Nigerians to support it to take them out of the wilderness the ruling party has thrown them into”

“PDP is committed to providing more credible, visionary and purposeful leadership” he concluded.

Dr. Mwadkwon made the disclosures after casting his vote as a statutory delegate at the Congresses.
