The National Open University of Nigeria (NOUN) has officially commissioned a new campus in Wase Local Government Area, indicating an essential turning point in the area’s educational growth.

The establishment of the NOUN campus in Wase was facilitated by the Deputy Speaker of the House of Representatives, Rt. Hon. Idris Wase. His contributions were critical in bringing this vital educational institution to the area, demonstrating his dedication to improving educational possibilities for his constituents.

The inauguration event was witnessed by dignitaries, municipal authorities, and members of the academic community.

The new university campus is expected to significantly impact socioeconomic development, community building, and educational opportunities in Wase LGA and neighboring areas, creating business opportunities and income for local entrepreneurs.
