There are going to be fresh elections in eighteen polling places in Jos North, according to the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC).

The Plateau Resident Electoral Commissioner, Oliver Agundu, justified this decision by pointing to a lack of ballots during the district’s Saturday rerun.

Agundu stated that the commission is actively probing the cause of the ballot paper shortfall. Of the affected units, 15 are located in Tudun Wada/Kabong ward, with the remaining three in Naraguta B, both situated in Jos North.

Agundu said that tomorrow will be the election day in these places.
