In a continued effort to enhance healthcare data management and improve service delivery in Plateau State, the Plateau State Immunization Plus and Malaria Project (IMPACT Project) has donated an HP Intel Core i5 (12th Gen) laptop computer to the Plateau State Drugs and Medical Commodities Management Agency (PS-DMCMA).

The donation aims to strengthen documentation processes and promote effective tracking of health commodities and tracers across healthcare facilities.

The initiative also seeks to enhance the response system for Gender-Based Violence (GBV) cases through improved digital record-keeping and accountability within the health sector.

During the presentation, the Project Manager of the IMPACT Project, Nrs. Ndak Zuhumnan, reaffirmed the project’s commitment to improving service delivery and strengthening Primary Health Care (PHC) systems across Plateau State. He underscored the importance of effective documentation and community engagement, urging field volunteers to mobilize pregnant women and ensure every eligible child receives immunization during outreach activities.

“We remain committed to supporting the Plateau State Government in achieving quality healthcare delivery at all levels,” Nrs. Ndak said, commending the Executive Governor, Barr. Caleb Manasseh Mutfwang, for his continued support, especially in facilitating the delivery of essential kits through the DMA.

Receiving the donation, the Executive Secretary of PS-DMCMA, Pharm. Kim Jerry Bot, expressed profound gratitude to the IMPACT Project for including the agency in its work plan. He noted that the gesture would go a long way in improving operational efficiency and service delivery across the state’s health facilities.

“We appreciate this thoughtful intervention and the ongoing partnership with the IMPACT Project. I assure you that our team will leave no stone unturned in sustaining this collaboration for better healthcare outcomes in Plateau State,” Pharm. Bot stated.

The formal handover of the laptop was performed by the project management team, accompanied by the Procurement Officer, Charles N. Puepet.

The Director of Administration, Salamatu Parlong, thanked the IMPACT Project for the continuous support extended to the agency. She emphasized that the donation would significantly aid documentation processes and strengthen coordination within the PS-DMCMA.

The donation marks another milestone in the IMPACT Project’s mission to enhance digital transformation, accountability, and transparency in Plateau State’s healthcare system.
