The leadership crisis over the position of Chairmanship of the All Progressive Congress (APC),in plateau state is taken dramatic turn as the Factional Chairman of the party in the state, Honorable Ishaya Itse said he remains the authentic Chairman of the party, that Honorable Rufus Bature led Chairman is to say the least is an imposter and Illegal parading himself as Chairman.
As the party Factional Chairman Ishaya Itse said the kangaroo primaries election of the party conducted by the self acclaim Chairman of the party Rufus Bature which produced Dr. Nentawe Yilwada as Governship Candidate is non and void which doesn’t exist in the eyes of the law.
The Factional Chairman of the party in the state , Ishaya Itse was speaking to group of journalists in a press conference held 11th November 2023 in Jos , plateau state capital.
He Commended the Immediate past Governor of the state now Minister of labour and employment, Simon Bako Lalong , John Daafan, and others over their victory at the court of Appeal Abuja, however Commended the jurists that delivered the judgement whom he described as fearless who believed they have to pass the judgement with human face irrespective of whose ox is gore.
However adviced the party APC that is not yet time to celebrate over their victories at the Appeal Court against PDP because APC is still having plethora of court litigations especially his Petition which he has filed “Motion on Notice” dated 9th November 2023 that had already been served to the Respondents Rufus Bature, APC and other parties in the matter.
Further urgued the party and it victorious Candidates at the Appeal tribunal that is not yet “Uhuru” as the party’s court cases pending that are yet to be disposed are undisputable more than that of PDP currently in court.
Honorable Itse promised to stop at nothing and to pursue the injustice meted on him and his authentic Exco’s through the instrumentality of the court to a logical conclusion and ensure that justice is done.
Adviced his supporters to remain calm and be focu as Justice shall surely be delivered in their favor at the end of the day.
It would be recall that honorable Ishaya Itse ,the Factional Chairman of APC in plateau is challenging the Congress that produce honorable Rufus Bature in the court as the party Chairman which he described as Illegal.
