Hon. Ishaya David Lalu has denied recent claims by the Plateau Progressives Ambassadors that he has been endorsed for the 2027 governorship under the All Progressives Congress (APC).

In a press statement issued by his Head of Media and Publicity, Mr. Victor S. Gutul, the endorsement was described as misleading and baseless.

The statement also condemned the aggressive rhetoric from the group, which included vows to “remove” Governor Caleb Mutfwang from office. Such language was deemed inappropriate and detrimental to constructive political discourse.

Hon. Lalu’s media team emphasized that his primary focus remains on serving the people of the Mangu/Bokkos constituency and Plateau State at large. They assured the public that his approach to politics is rooted in peace and respect, rejecting divisive tactics.

The public was urged to disregard the false endorsement claims and remain vigilant against misinformation. The statement highlighted the importance of maintaining integrity in political communication.

Hon. Lalu’s commitment to serving the people with honesty and dedication was reaffirmed, with a clear focus on promoting peaceful and respectful political engagement.
