The residents of Chugwi village in Jos South LGA have been informed by Gyang Bere, Director of Press and Public Affairs (DOPPA) to Governor Caleb Mutfwang of Plateau, that his principal will not fail to meet the yearnings and aspirations of the people of the state.

Bere provided the reassurance during a meeting with PDP youth members in the state’s Jos South Local Government Area’s Vwang district.

He claims that the governor has the best interests of the state in mind and won’t let the people down.

He also assured the youths that governor Mutfwang had promised to carry them along in the running of the affairs of the state.

”Today, we have a governor in Plateau who has put the interest of the people as his top priority.

”The governor has beautiful programmes and projects that will move the state forward.

”So, I want to assure you and, indeed, all Plateau residents that the governor will not fail to deliver on dividends of democracy to everyone,” he said.

The governor’s aide said that the state government, in collaboration with security agencies, had adopted measures to tackle the security challenges currently confronting Plateau.

According to him, all elected politicians running on the PDP platform were cooperating, so all party supporters should do the same.

Bere urged the youth to assist the administration in its efforts to offer the state’s citizens decent governance.

Bere praised the people for electing Mutfwang as the state’s governor by a landslide in a speech delivered at the New Life Gospel Church of Christ for All Nations, Chugwi in the Vwang region of the Jos South LGA.

But he urged them to pray and help the governor succeed by giving him their support.
