Governor Caleb Manasseh Mutfwang of Plateau State has expressed strong support for the APC electronic registration exercise, describing it as a major step toward building a stronger and more united party in the state.
The Governor spoke during the official launch of the APC e-registration exercise in Plateau State, which attracted party leaders, stakeholders, and members from across the state.
In a statement issued by his Director of Press and Public Affairs, Gyang Bere, Governor Mutfwang said the e-registration would strengthen internal democracy and improve transparency within the party.
He noted that the digital registration system would give every member equal recognition and help the party maintain a credible and reliable membership database.

Governor Mutfwang called on APC members to embrace unity, saying Plateau State needs peace, cooperation, and shared commitment to achieve meaningful development.
He stressed that political differences should not divide the people, adding that development can only be achieved when leaders and citizens work together.
The Governor urged party officials to ensure the e-registration exercise is peaceful, free, and accessible to all, including women, youths, and persons with disabilities.
He assured party members that his administration remains committed to inclusive governance and policies that benefit all Plateau citizens without discrimination.
Governor Mutfwang also reaffirmed his loyalty to the APC and his full support for President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s Renewed Hope Agenda.
Recall that Governor Mutfwang recently defected from the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) to the All Progressives Congress (APC) after prayers, wide consultations, and deep reflection in the interest of Plateau State.
Following his defection, he officially received his APC membership card from the party leadership and pledged to work with all stakeholders to move Plateau forward.

Speaking at the event, APC National Chairman, Professor Nentawe Yilwatda, described the e-registration exercise as a historic moment for the party in Plateau State.
Professor Nentawe said the digital registration would strengthen party structure, improve organization, and prepare the APC for future elections.
He commended Governor Mutfwang for embracing unity and working with the party leadership to promote peace and development in Plateau State.
The APC National Chairman called on party members to support the Governor’s vision, adding that a united APC would bring greater progress and lasting benefits to the people of Plateau State.
