Plateau State Governor, Caleb Mutfwang, has congratulated the Most Reverend Benjamin Argak Kwashi on his appointment and enthronement as Anglican Archbishop of Chad under the Province of Alexandria, North Africa.
The Governor described the appointment as a well-deserved recognition of Archbishop Kwashi’s decades of dedicated service to God, the Church, and humanity.
In a statement issued by the Director of Press and Public Affairs to the Governor, Gyang Bere, Mutfwang said the cleric has consistently demonstrated unwavering faith, humility, and visionary leadership throughout his ministry.
He noted that Archbishop Kwashi’s impact extends beyond Nigeria, earning him international respect as a champion of peace, justice, reconciliation, and spiritual renewal.
The Governor also commended the Archbishop’s contributions to the growth of the Church through mentorship, humanitarian service, and faith-based leadership that has transformed many lives.
According to Mutfwang, the elevation is not only a personal achievement for Archbishop Kwashi but also a source of pride for Plateau State and Nigeria, reflecting the far-reaching influence of his ministry.
He prayed for God’s wisdom, strength, and guidance as the Archbishop assumes his new responsibilities, expressing confidence that his leadership would promote unity, peace, and spiritual growth across the Church.
