The newly upgraded Federal University of Education, Pankshin in Plateau State has announced a wide range of academic and non-academic staff vacancies, calling on qualified Nigerians to submit applications for employment.
According to the advertisement signed by the Acting Registrar and Secretary to Council, Mr. James O. Madaki, the university is seeking candidates to fill multiple positions across various categories. These include positions for Lecturers II and III, Assistant Lecturers, Information Officers, Quantity Surveyors, Planning Officers, Administrative Officers, Procurement Officers, Medical Officers, and others.
Applicants are expected to possess relevant academic qualifications ranging from Doctorate and Master’s degrees to diplomas and certificates depending on the designation. Experience requirements vary by role, with some demanding a minimum of 2–6 years post-qualification experience. For academic roles, teaching and research experience along with published works in reputable journals are also required.
In the non-academic category, roles include Executive Officers, Accountants, Secretarial staff, Architects, and Catering Officers. Most of these require a minimum of a Second-Class Lower Degree, relevant professional registration, and NYSC discharge certificates.
Interested candidates are to submit ten (10) copies of their comprehensive curriculum vitae detailing personal data, academic qualifications, work experience, professional memberships, and three referees, among others. The application must be in a sealed envelope with the position applied for clearly indicated at the top left corner.
