David Adeleke, widely known as Davido, the multi-award-winning musician and entertainer, has kept his promise to his Nigerian fans. He recently announced that his “Timeless” tour will return to Nigeria in December 2023, with concerts set in three different locations on three consecutive days.
In a social media post, the artist stated that he will be playing again in Lagos, with Port Harcourt and Abuja listed as additional destinations the singer would be going to delight fans.
His announcement on social media read, “WE BRINGING THE SHOWS BACK HOME TO CLOSE OUT THE YEAR!NIGERIA THEM GO FEEL IT!!!! 30BG WE COMING!!!!OBO BADDEST 001 LETS DO THIS RIGHT!”
The first stop in Abuja has been set for December 14, 2023, at Eagle Square. The singer and his team’s next destination will be Port Harcourt on December 17, 2023, where he will play at the legendary Yakubu Gowon Stadium for fans before wrapping out a triumphant year in Lagos on December 24, 2023, at the Eko Convention Center.
It is unknown whether the singer would invite special guest performers to the venue for the audience.
Davido has had perhaps the biggest year so far in 2023, from the publication of his fourth studio album to the birth of his twins and a successful global tour, so it is only fitting that he ends the year with a bang in his homeland, Nigeria, and we will be there for every minute of it.
