As Nigeria observe the 2021 Democracy Day, the Member representing Barkin Ladi/Riyom Federal Constituency Plateau State, Rep. Simon Mwadkwon Ph.D has commended his Constituents, the Citizens of Plateau State and Nigeria at large for their resilience and contributions to the growth and development of the Nation’s democracy.

The Federal Lawmaker also lauded the Citizens for their ceaseless prayers charging them to remain optimistic about the future of Nigeria.

In his Democracy Day Message, the Lawmaker admonished all Nigerians to contribute their quota towards achieving a more united, peaceful, safer, secured and prosperous Nation.

“The Nation is experiencing numerous challenges ranging from insecurity, economic hardship, unemployment and bad leadership. However, if we agree, together we can overcome the daunting challenges bedeviling us as a Nation”

“Nigeria is blessed and we must unite towards making things work for our collective prosperity” he said.

Dr. Mwadkwon called on the political class, especially the executive arms of government at all levels to be sensitive to the plights of the populace and focus on alleviating the sufferings of the citizens.

He further stressed that as Lawmakers, they will continue to enact laws and legislate on issues that will engender National peace, cohesion, prosperity and development.

He congratulated all Governors, Rt. Hon. Femi Gbajabiamila Speaker House of Representatives and Rt Hon. Idris Maje Wase and his colleagues in the National and State Houses of Assembly on the occasion of the 2021 democracy Day’s celebration

Rep. Mwadkwon also call on president Buhari to use his office to end the killings in Barkin Ladi/Riyom Federal Constituency, Plateau State and Nigeria in the interest of peace, democracy and for the growth and development of Nigeria.

He prayed for a peaceful and hitch free celebration devoid of any form of violence.
