The Federal High Court in Abuja has ordered the Nigerian Police Force not to reinstate the suspended 17 Local Government Council Chairmen of Plateau State back into office.
This follows shortly after the Inspector General of Police ordered the Plateau State Commissioner of Police to unseal the offices of the Local Government Council Chairmen and Councillors, thereby reinstating them back into office.
However, the Federal High Court set aside the order earlier made by the IGP to halt pending the hearing and determination of the State High Court’s ruling.
