The All Progressives Congress is aghast with the gruesome murders of innocent people on the Plateau.
It is very disturbing and outrageous that hardly a week passes without bloodletting and wanton destruction of lives and property in the state.
Last weekend’s attack on the people of Zurak and Dakai communities in Wase local area, where several lives were reportedly stifled, is one too many, and totally unacceptable.
The APC is concerned and upset that people particularly those in the rural communities, are now soft targets of mindless, barbaric attacks by bloodsucking marauders.
As matter of fact, the time has come for the people not to always resort to wailing and counting their losses alone, but to stand up and collectively join hands with the security agencies to confront the attackers irrespective of political differences.
The party wants to reiterate it’s call on President Bola Tinubu to pay special attention to the insecurity on the Plateau and also support the State government with all that is required to protect the people of the State.
The APC will always support the State government and the security agencies in whatever way possible, to fight the menace of the attackers. We are therefore commiserating with all those who lost their loved ones and others that sustained injuries in the attack.
