Plateau State Governor Caleb Mutfwang dissolved the governing council of Plateau State University, Bokkos, the vice chancellor, Professor Bernard Matur Malau, who was appointed in February 2023.
Barr. Mutfwang also dissolved the heads of other tertiary institutions, such as Plateau State Polytechnic at Barkin Ladi, Gindiri College of Education, Zawan College of Health Technology, and Pankshin University.
According to a statement signed by Samuel Jatau, Secretary of the Plateau State Government, all ousted heads must promptly give over their responsibilities to the next most senior officer in their respective institutions.
