GIST set to return with its 13th edition in April to thrill the city of Jos, Plateau State in a grand style.
The organizing committee for GIST (Gain through Insightful and Social Triumphs) has announced the commencement of the Event to kickstart in April, 2024.
GIST focus on information, knowledge and unconventional ways of educating individuals. It all comes down to questioning even the things that everyone takes to be true. While Learning, You chill as well.
Previous editions of GIST held at Subway Pool Side Rayfield, Hill Side Hotel in Vom, Nirvana Park and Gardens and Magnum Plus where Insightful teaching on Mental Health, Apprenticeship, Blockchain Technology, Liver Cancer, Relationships issues among other topics were discussed.
The 13th edition of GIST promises to be a remarkable experience. This event to hold on the 26th of April, 2024 at the prestigious Aliyu Akwe Doma Indoor theatre, University of Jos. Topics to discuss include Feminine hygiene, Importance of mentorship and apprenticeship in the labour market and HIV/AIDS. It also features Performances, Games, Karaoke and Cash Prizes.
In the same vain, GIST has other initiatives like The Education Movement, The GIST community service and Making one Mama smile every week. This gesture aims at providing financial support to older women (Mama), touring round plateau state for medical outreach and assisting the less privileged.
